are motivated, ambitious, and keen to experience working overseas. We have been
associated with Fachhochschule, Neu Ulm, for the last few years and it was a
pleasure to have Prof. Klaus Lang and Prof. Bernard Wagemann visit our offices in
India. We look forward to the opportunity to expand Connect - our internship program
along with the students and faculty at Fachhochschule, Neu Ulm."

Fachhochschule, Neu Ulm is one of the leading Business Schools in Germany with a
focus on Business Studies and Information Management. The University is highly
practice-oriented and has close links with industry in the region. During their stay
in India, Prof. Lang and Prof. Wagemann visited Neville Wadia Institute of
Management Studies & Research (NWIMSR), Symbiosis Institute of Business Management
(SIBM), Symbiosis Center for Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Symbiosis
Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies &
Research (SICSR) and Indian Institute of Modern Management (IIMM) to meet with their
directors and explore possibilities of similar internship programs for students
coming from Germany.

Prof. Lang said, "Pune has always been popular amongst the students in Germany due
to the well-known academic and research institutions and also for its IT
infrastructure and growth in the city. We were looking for Indian partner institutes
that could give our students cross-cultural learning and strategic IT and business
management skills. While interacting with the directors of the various institutes
and companies that we visited, we felt that our students will certainly benefit from
the practices that are defined and followed within the institutes and organizations
here. This certainly was a very successful visit and we look forward to visiting
India more often."

Lt Col ( retd) Arnab Banerji who heads the Connect program said, "Extentia and
Fachhochschule have been associated with each other for the last few years through
the Connect program. Every year we invite students to do an internship with us and
encourage them to stay for several months. These students work closely with our
business unit heads and get trained in different competencies. Our Connect program
invites candidates with marketing as well as technical background to work with our
teams. At the end of the internship, the candidates are given an experience
certificate while they carry along with them hands-on experience of various
enterprise level projects that are executed in Extentia."
